This purpose-built accommodation in Defender Road, Woolston, is set around a stylish courtyard garden. It is close to local amenities and within walking distance of the centre of Southampton.

There are 10 fully furnished studio flats for vulnerable single young people between 16 and 18 years of age.

There are also laundry facilities available.

Residents can stay for up to two years (sometimes longer). A guarantor is required to secure the accommodation, which can be a social worker, parent or guardian.

A full time Project Worker and two night security assistants work at Bridge View and other staff offer additional support. There is also an out of hour’s call-out system in place.

At the beginning of a stay, the Project Worker will agree a support plan with each resident, which is reviewed regularly. Residents will be referred to other appropriate agencies if more specialist support is required.
